The Clinical LIMS product has been carefully designed to accomodate the complexity and diverse requirements of the various Clinical laboratory disciplines and therefore requires separate setup. Laboratory disciplines are generally split between three laboratory modules:
- Lab: Typically includes clinical disciplines like Haematology; Biochemistry; Serology etc.
- Mic: Microbiology which includes analysis procedures like Urine MCS etc
- Pth: Anatomical pathology e.g. Histology and Cyology.
In addition to laboratory module specific setup, there are general setups to be completed, which is used in the more specifica module setup forms.
