A shareholder register is an official record of all current owners of a company’s shares, maintained and updated on an ongoing basis. It ensures that every active shareholder is documented, including their name, address, and the number of shares they hold. This register provides a clear and accurate view of ownership, supporting transparency, legal compliance, and effective communication with shareholders.

¶ Step 1: Shareholder register *(G2T)
- Go to Treasury > Registers > Shareholder register
- A page will open with the Shareholder information on the left hand side,
- Share details for each shareholder can be inserted on the right hand side. This includes:
- Share class (Deferred, Convertible, Redeemable, Non-voting, Ordinary and Preference)
- Quantity
- Percentage display field
- On or before date
- Disposal of shares date
